About Dr Tashi — Your Riverton Cardiologist
Dr Tashi Zhaxiduojie is a consultant cardiologist and imaging specialist based primarily at the Riverton head office. He holds a PhD in Cardiovascular Health Sciences (Curtin University, commendation, top 5%) and completed his cardiology fellowship at Fiona Stanley Hospital. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and a Senior Lecturer at UWA Medical School.
His hospital affiliations include Fiona Stanley Hospital, Joondalup Health Campus, Hollywood Private Hospital and Mount Hospital, allowing him to manage patients across the full spectrum of cardiovascular disease — from outpatient risk assessment to inpatient management of complex cardiac conditions.
Dr Tashi is committed to evidence-based, patient-centred care. He has a particular interest in preventive cardiology, echocardiographic assessment, lipid management (including PCSK9 inhibitor therapy), and early detection of structural heart disease.
